| 21 is a movie about an MIT Blackjack Team that took
Las Vegas Casinos for Millions. The MIT team used card counting to
predict how they should play the game, thereby increasing their odds
over the casino odds. Card counting is not illegal, it is called
Advantage Play. Card counting can be done by using just your
brain, but it is much easier to use a card counting computer.
Since casinos are private establishments, they have the right to excuse
anyone from their premises, and usually do so if they believe you
are a card counter and making too much money. IMAGINE THAT!
Some courts have ruled that casinos cannot excuse patrons from playing
so long as they are not cheating. Remember, card counting is not
cheating, although some jurisdictions do not allow you to use a card
counting computer.
